Another road trip to Las Vegas…another late-game victory!

The Dolphins narrowly escaped Las Vegas last year when Ryan Fitzpatrick replaced an inept Tua Tagovailoa. The facemask completion extended the Dolphins final drive and led to the game winning points. This year, I don’t think that the Dolphins will need last minute heroics.

The Raiders are a good football team and have added beef to the roster but they are also a slow starting team that tends to get better as the season moves along. This is problem for Las Vegas. If they get too far behind in the standings, they take risks and tend to blow games. This is an early season match-up and one of the two long trips the Dolphins have to make.

Miami matches up well with Las Vegas and it will be a close game for at least three and a half quarters but if the Dolphins can execute and by now we should start seeing more consistency from Jaylen Waddle, the Dolphins can turn the 4th quarter into a ball control offense that can eat the clock.

The Dolphins should be able to beat the Raiders but they will not likely be favored in this early week three match-up.
