There is no question that the media is hard on Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa but he is far from the worst QB in the AFC East.

The media has found their whipping boy and we discussed why in this article.

It’s can be stressed enough that this is a kid who suffered a major hip injury less than a year before making his first NFL Start. A kid who was still rehabbing that same hip when he was drafted and had only been walking for a few months again. The same kid who showed up on time for a COVID training camp still rehabbing his body.

The same kid who started behind three rookie linemen. Yet, he is, according to some in the media and some fans, a bust. After 9 games, Tua Tagovailoa can’t compete at this level. So many believe that is time to move on but in reality, Tua still rates pretty high in the AFC East.

Josh Allen is the best in the AFC East right now and whether you agree or disagree it really isn’t that much a matter of opinion, statistically speaking, he is better than the other three starters. Potential we can debate. With Tom Brady out of New England, the Patriots’ two choices at QB are Cam Newton and Mac Jones. Jones is a rookie and Newton was awful last year and has seen his career diminish the last few seasons.
