Miami Dolphins 2021 fantasy football season outlook
By Pablo Rosero
Fantasy football drafts are beginning following a hectic NFL off-season and the new look Miami Dolphins could offer value.
The Dolphins were viewed as having one of the most impressive off-seasons after making major additions to both sides of the ball, while also building off of an impressive 10-win 2020 season.
These moves should help the team make a playoff push in 2020, but it should also help fantasy football players take a more closer look at the Dolphins.
Breaking down the entire Dolphins fantasy football outlook starts with breaking down the quarterback position, one that will be headlined by Tua Tagovailoa.
Tagovailoa is expected to see his fantasy stock improve after the Dolphins made a massive stride to improve the offense.
Tagovailoa was quoted stating he had a hard time learning the playbook in his rookie season. However, now in a new offense scheme with improved weapons, he should be able to excel and live up to the hype as he did in several games in his rookie season.
In terms of fantasy, Tagovailoa should be viewed as a good back up to play in case of bye weeks, a match-up streamer, or as a second quarterback in a Super-flex league. Until he can prove that he can consistently put up numbers, it is difficult to view him as a weekly fantasy starter.
Jacoby Brissett and Reid Sinnett are currently the two quarterbacks backing up Tagoviloa and, barring an injury to Tagovailoa, neither should be viewed as having any fantasy value.
