The Dolphins tight end core currently features four players who should see some sort of action in the 2021 NFL season. Headlined by Mike Gesicki and 2021 NFL draft pick Hunter Long the two are also accompanied by Adam Shaheen and Durham Smythe.

Of the four, only Mike Gesicki carries true fantasy value heading into 2021. Even with increased competition for targets he should be on the field enough to garner solid value. Aside from just a high snap total, Gesicki should also see a majority of his work down in the red zone as a end zone target for Tagovailoa.

Outside of Gesicki, who has a year left on his rookie deal, Hunter Long offers dynasty value. If Gesicki is to leave the team via free agency, Long would be a solid dynasty stash as he would become the teams top tight end.

Shaheen and Smythe should also take snaps away from Gesicki, but not enough to garner any true value.
