Miami Dolphins 2021 breakout player from each offensive position
By Brian Miller
At the wide receiver position, you could almost name all of the Miami Dolphins receivers. Will Fuller is the new guy in Miami but he stands to be one of the best this year.
If Fuller can stay healthy, the Dolphins will have a phenomenal deep threat who can also operate out of the slot, run crossing patterns, and is very dangerous when put in motion to create mismatches with defensive schemes.
Fuller should find a quick rapport with Tua Tagovailoa and we should start seeing that in training camp. With questions surrounding Jakeem Grant’s future in Miami and Preston Williams’ inability to stay healthy, Fuller could be a big component of the offense especially if he ends up with safety coverage over the top.
Fuller has a lot of the same skillset as Kenny Stills did but while the two have comparable speed, Fuller has better hands and is far more consistent with the football.
How well Fuller plays in 2021 will depend on the offense that Miami runs but this offense seems geared to a passing attack and while the Dolphins tend to play a shorter game with their play calling, Fuller is going to be that deep shot that they have to take and if they start finding success with it, Fuller is going to have a great season in Miami.
