Four Miami Dolphins who could be All-Pros next season
By Nick Belotto
DeVante Parker is another player on this roster with great potential to be a top receiver in the league. Of course, like many others on this list, his success is somewhat dependent on whether or not he can stay healthy for a full 17 game season.
In the 2019 season, when Parker played a full 16 games and had some stability at quarterback, he put up monster numbers that had him in the discussion as one of the best performers in the league and, most definitely, in the AFC. In 2020, he took a major step back in part due to injuries and his fluctuating quarterback situation.
After a full offseason training with Tua Tagovailoa, Parker should be able to duplicate his 2019 season if he can stay on the field.
Of course, Parker will also have to stay healthy. When he is on the field, he is a physical receiver who also has the speed to beat opposing defensive backs deep along the sideline.
To help Tagovailoa develop in his second year, Miami’s front office brought in a ton of weapons that the young quarterback can rely on. Those additions are also going to help DeVante Parker as well, since opposing defenses will have more threats to worry about across the field, giving Parker more one-on-one opportunities.
With the complementary pieces around him, Parker could be a legitimate weapon for Tagovailoa and their connection could be one of the more dangerous in the NFL. If it works out, Parker could be the fourth Dolphin on the All-Pro list for 2021.
