Miami Dolphins training camp: The 3 players competing at TE
By Brian Miller
Chris Myarick will be on the outside looking in but he has played and has been decent when given the chance. He has to have a great camp though.
The chances of Myarick making the roster are pretty slim given the guys in front of him but he will be given a chance to show what he can do. Those opportunities may be few and far between so he will need to make the most of them every chance he gets.
Myarick has played three games in the NFL which is more than some others get to say but his best option is to land on the practice squad and that too may be difficult this year. Even is surprise releases happen to the unit, Myarick is going to find it hard to make the impression he needs to make in order to get that final spot.
One other TE that is on the roster that will not make the final 53 is Jibri Blount. The son of HOFer Mel Blount, Jibri has just started playing the sport and has not played a down at the college level opting for basketball instead. His road to the roster is going to be a very long one.
