For now, six players from Alabama are on the Miami Dolphins roster

The Miami Dolphins have a diverse college breakdown on their roster but far and away it is Alabama that is repped the most.

Six players from Alabama are on the Dolphins’ current roster and while that will almost 100% change when the Dolphins trim down to their final 53, it is interesting to see that so much focus has been put on Alabama by the Dolphins scouting department.

The colleges with the most players on the Dolphins’ roster are as follows.

  • Alabama

Raekwon Davis, D.J. Fluker, Robert Foster, Tua Tagovailoa, Carl Tucker, Jaylen Waddle

  •  Auburn

Nick Coe, Javaris Davis, Noah Igbinoghene

  •  Georgia

John Jenkins, Solomon Kindley, Jonathan Ledbetter

  •  Wisconsin

Vince Biegel, Michael Dieter, Andrew Van Ginkel

  • Notre Dame

Will Fuller, Liam Eichenberg, Durham Smythe

Looking at this roster we can assume that of the six Alabama players, Foster and Tucker have a strong chance to not be on the roster in week one. There is a chance that Fluker may not as well and that would put the Alabama list at 3.

We can assume that Coe and Davis are long shots which would put Auburn at one player while Georgia could take a hit or two as well. Wisconsin and Notre Dame seem to be the only two schools that will probably not take a hit when the team cuts to 53, at least not this year.

This was something that I noticed when I was looking at the Dolphins roster and since it’s July, it is an interesting look at what schools have produced the most players on Miami’s 2021 training camp roster.
