Miami Dolphins rookie outlook for the 2021 season

After suffering through the football dead months, Miami Dolphins training camp officially begins at the end of the month. With the new season, comes new expectations from everyone on the roster with a hope to find a few rookies that can contribute immediately.
Since Brian Flores took over, the team has gone through a considerable rebuild and is experiencing positive results earlier than many many have predicted. After being on the doorstep of the playoffs last season, the goal is play extra football this season and, maybe, win a playoff game. A lot of that success will be determined by the play of the veterans on the roster, but Miami will need some rookie help to fully flesh out this unit’s potential.
The Miami Dolphins are in a perfect position to see a number of talented rookies make solid impacts on this team. Whether it be Jaylen Waddle’s speed and game-breaking abilities or Liam Eichenberg locking down one of the starting offensive line spots, Miami has a number of first year players that are ready to start on day one and some that will be solid backups as the year progresses.
But, what are some fair expectations in terms of stats for this year’s rookie class?
This piece will look at each of the drafted rookies on this roster and provide predictions as to how each of them will perform. It won’t include un-drafted rookies even though there are a few that could make this team and become contributors, especially towards the end of the season.
