Myles Gaskin – RB

  • ESPN rank – 43 overall makes Gaskin the highest-rated Dolphins player this year.
  • Risks – Gaskin doesn’t have a significant injury history and missed time last year due to COVID protocols. He shouldn’t be considered a risk for injury this year.
  • Draftable – Gaskin should be on your radar but is more likely going to be a match-up running back throughout the season.
  • Weekly starter – The flex position is probably where you will want to play him. He shouldn’t be a number one or two option unless there are bye-weeks or injuries.
  • Predicted points – 220 points are predicted by ESPN in a PPR league format.
  • Round prediction – The 4th round is probably where he should go but teams tend to panic when runners come off the board. Keep an eye on the trends in round three.

Gaskin is the Dolphins’ clear number one running back but the Dolphins offensive line could struggle again this year and if does, Gaskin is not going to produce. He will split carries with others but should be the Dolphins’ workhorse back for much of the season. In 2020, he scored 164 fantasy points and that was with missing time. Gaskin is worth a draft pick and should be on your mid-round radar but you will probably need to reach a little higher given the typical higher round run on running backs.
