Jaylen Waddle

  • ESPN Rank – A rank of 93 overall puts Waddle ahead of fellow teammate DeVante Parker and for good reason.
  • Risks – While Waddle has foot surgery last year, it does not appear to be a problem with him this year. His speed has been on display at Dolphins training camp and he looks like he is ready for the NFL jump.
  • Draftable – Waddle will make a solid pick in one-year leagues but is a must draft in dynasty leagues.
  • Weekly starter – Waddle is going to have to earn a weekly spot on a fantasy roster and is more likely going to be suited early as a bench player.
  • Predicted points – 179 points are predicted for Waddle and that is actually quite good for a rookie.
  • Round prediction – Waddle shouldn’t be drafted until after round 10 in deeper leagues and no sooner than round 8 in shallow leagues.

Waddle has a lot going for him and he could be a major breakout player in 2021 for the Dolphins. You will need to watch his week-to-week production as he could be one of those players that impresses you one week but then puts up nothing the next. His best draft spot is in deep dynasty leagues where you can keep him another season. If Waddle plays the entire year, he should do better than the predicted points but I wouldn’t expect it to be much higher.
