DeVante Parker

  • ESPN Rank – ESPN has Parker ranked at 118 and I’m surprised he isn’t ranked a little lower. There are plenty of better options at receiver even in the early mid-rounds of the draft.
  • Risks – Parker has yet to complete a full season. He has less risk than Will Fuller but still comes with durability concerns. He tends to be boom or bust week to week.
  • Draftable – Parker should be on your draft board but if you are looking for a WR1/2, Parker isn’t going to win you a championship.
  • Weekly starter – The best you can hope for is that Parker breaks out and you get a steal of a late draft pick. More likely you use him as a bye week filler or flex option depending on match-up.
  • Predicted points – 160 is a fair assumption for Parker in 2021 and barring injury, you can expect a few more points.
  • Round prediction – Personally, I would hope my roster is pretty much set by the time I start to look at Parker. For that reason, I would believe he will be a 7-10 round player.

Parker has a lot of talent and last year we only got to see a small sample of that with Tua Tagovailoa behind center. This off-season could produce a quality connection between the two and that would bode well for Parker’s season and fantasy points. I wouldn’t rely on Parker to win weekly match-ups but I wouldn’t pass on him if my roster was filled with starters. He would be a good option and could break out and surprise you.
