Win Division +340

This may be the best value bet of any of the preseason props that are on the board for the Dolphins.

Miami has won the AFC East just once in the last 19 years, a period dominated by the Patriots. But there is a new sheriff in town, as the Bills have risen to prominence behind breakout quarterback Josh Allen. Buffalo went 13-3 last season on the way to their first division championship since 1995 and are the heavy favorites to take the East again this year. Their odds stand at -155, far and away the best in the division and some of the shortest of any team around the league. If you’re willing to win a bet but lose 35 cents on the dollar, then the Bills are a safe choice.

But at +340, betting the Miami Dolphins to take the division crown could be where the money is. The recent history of the AFC East has to be thrown out of the window now that the Patriots reign of dominance is over (for now), and Miami will surely be looking to put a stick in the gears of the Bills’ train in order to make a claim to the throne of their own. Is it likely that they are able to unseat Buffalo? Not really, but at 17/5 odds, it may not be a bad value bet.
