The 2021 NFL Top 100 is down to their final top 10 which means that only one player represents the Miami Dolphins on the list. Should there be more? Maybe one or two at most but it would be hard to pinpoint who.

Xavien Howard, of course, is the only Miami Dolphins player on the list and he is actually the highest Dolphins player ranked in years. He comes in at 17 which is pretty good and he is the second-highest ranked corner.

You could probably make an argument for Mike Gesicki who played well last year but it would be hard to figure out who to kick off the list. Voted on by the players, the TOP 100 list is subjective and it was surprising to see Justin Herbert ranked as high as he was, low 50’s.

Looking at the Dolphins roster, it is difficult to pick out any more than Gesicki. The wide receivers were not good all year, the offensive line was not good, the defensive line was good but they weren’t great against the run. Miami’s strength was the secondary but even a 10 win season wasn’t going to get Eric Rowe a nod, or Byron Jones.

Can someone break into the top 100 this year? Howard should be able to get back on the list but fans are hoping that Tua Tagovailoa will take that massive leap we are hoping for. I would be very surprised if he got any props from others, even other players in the league. It will be on his shoulders to prove to them he is one of the best.
