Week 16: at New Orleans – MNF (Loss, 10-5)

New Orleans is not an easy place to play in, especially in primetime. The Dolphins will have their hands full in this late-season matchup. It is very likely that both teams will be competing for a playoff spot. Even without Drew Brees, the Saints are a threat if everything falls into place. With a tough crowd to play against, I think the Dolphins will lose by a field goal in this one.

Week 17: at Tennessee (Loss, 10-6)

For the first time since parting ways after the 2018 season, Ryan Tannehill and the Dolphins will face off. This is a very big matchup that should have AFC playoff implications. With the addition of Julio Jones, the Titans have one of the most dynamic offenses in the league. I think it will be very hard to shut down the Titans’ offense. Ryan Tannehill has extra motivation in this one, and he takes care of his former team late in December.

Week 18: vs New England (Win, 11-6)

Coming off of back-to-back road losses forces the Dolphins to ultimately needing to win in order to reach the playoffs. Of course, it comes against Bill Belichick looking to play spoiler in Miami. This will not be an easy game at all but I think the Dolphins, with the home crowd behind them, have a good advantage. The Dolphins’ defense is a huge key in this one as I think they will make a huge difference in shutting down the Patriots’ offense. The Dolphins pull away in the 4th quarter, and Dolphins fans get to celebrate their first playoff berth since 2016.

Final record : 11-6 (AFC WildCard #1)
