NFL Week 1 Power Rankings, where do the Miami Dolphins rank?
Baltimore Ravens- For the second straight year, the Ravens failed to make it past the divisional round. With arguably a top 5 defense, they are a very dangerous team in the AFC. How far the Ravens make it this year all depends on how much Lamar Jackson can improve as a passer. We all know what he can do, but it is time for him to make the next step forward.
Tennessee Titans- I feel like there are way too many people are writing off the Titans this year. Sure, they failed at their ultimate goal last year but they are still a very good team. The offseason addition of Julio Jones makes this an elite offense. They will cause many problems for opposing defenses, and it will be tough to slow them down.
Los Angeles Rams- The Rams are entering the first season under new quarterback Matthew Stafford. The addition of Stafford instantly makes the Rams a Super Bowl contender. He finally got out of Detroit and is now in a perfect system with Sean McVay. I would have the Rams higher on the list but the loss of Cam Akers hurts a lot.
San Francisco 49ers- The 49ers are starting to put some heat on Jimmy Garoppolo by recently drafting Trey Lance in the first round. The 2020 season was filled with key injuries which was the big factor in why they finished 6-10. They will get all of the key injuries back this season including George Kittle. The 49ers are a team that could easily make it back to the playoffs.
Miami Dolphins- The Dolphins season ultimately all depends on the growth of Tua. Looking to move on from his rookie season, the young quarterback already shows much improvement. The defense looks to maintain its production from last year, and the offense all of a sudden looks like a threat with the addition of Jaylen Waddle and Will Fuller. The Dolphins are a playoff contender, but it is all on Tua to see how far they go.
