10. Teddy Bridgewater

Fresh off of winning the starting job in Denver, Teddy Bridgewater finds his way in the top 10 of the quarterback power rankings after Week 1. I am shocked that Bridgewater looked so good, but he threw for 264 yards, two touchdowns, and he had no interceptions. That is the exact reason he won the job, and it will be awesome to see him keep this up.

9. Derek Carr

That Monday Night Football game was wild. Also, if ESPN does not have Eli and Peyton Manning have their own broadcast every single week, we will have some problems! They were so much fun breaking down just how well and dialed in Derek Carr was at the end of the game. His final drive to win the game was fantastic, and he threw a perfect cover 0 beater for the game-winning score.

8. Jalen Hurts

Many of you know I do not think Jalen Hurts is a very good NFL quarterback, but I do not make the rules here! The eye in the sky doesn’t lie, and the eye showed that Hurts had an awesome game in Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons. It seems a lot of people are sold on Hurts being the guy after one week, but I will revisit that idea after Week 18.

7. Russell Wilson

He may not get an MVP vote, but Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is so solid. My guess will be he is ranked in the top 10 the entire season because he just has such an awesome ability to throw moon balls for scores. He found receiver Tyler Lockett for a bomb on Sunday, and he made a good Indy defense look mediocre.

6. Dak Prescott

There were a lot of questions about Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and his health heading into this season. I think he answered them and made his own statement by balling out. I once said that Prescott could be the steal of the draft when he was taken by the Cowboys, and wow has he been impressive.
