The Pittsburgh Steelers entered this year hoping for a much better outcome after being embarrassed by the Browns in the playoffs. They sure did make a statement by going into Buffalo and coming out with a win. All odds were against the Steelers winning, but they did what they needed to do. The defense looked elite, and gave Josh Allen and the Bills offense a hard time all day long. Hint the reason why the Bills scored just 16 points. Sure, the Steelers offense was off to a sluggish start, but they did pick it up in the second half and with this defense, they may surprise a lot of people this year.

What a performance from the New Orleans Saints. After having to deal with their home opener being moved to Jacksonville due to Hurricane Ida, all odds were against the Saints, especially going up against the Green Bay Packers. But the Saints decided to not even allow it to be a game, Jameis Winston shined and took the show over by throwing for 5 touchdowns in his first Saints start. It was the defense that made a big difference too, intercepting Aaron Rodgers twice and sacking him twice as well. They made it a hard time on him and gave him the worst loss of his career. Big win for the Saints in Week 1.

8. team. 26. . (0-1). Previous: 6th. Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens opened up in Vegas in what was arguably the game of the week. The Ravens had a 14-0 lead early on but the Raiders came back, to eventually win in overtime. It was a disappointing letdown from the Ravens. The defense did not play well by giving up 435 passing yards. On top of that, Lamar Jackson had 2 fumbles that really was the biggest difference in this game. Things do not get easier for the Ravens as they head to Kansas City this week.

Buffalo Bills. 9. team. 16. . (0-1). Previous: 4th

The Buffalo Bills are arguably of the AFC favorites to win the Super Bowl this year. With such high hopes, it was surprising to see the Bills struggle as much as they did against the Steelers defense. Josh Allen is coming off of a breakout season and he did not perform that well at all on Sunday. He even fumbled the ball which he does not do often. The defense shut out the Steelers in the first half, but they gave up all 23 points in the second half. The Bills were among of the disappointments in Week 1.

team. 49. . (0-1). Previous: 3rd. Green Bay Packers. 10

Aaron Rodgers had one of the worst games of his career on Sunday. The offense was not clicking at all, as the Saints defense was a huge reason for that. But it was a poor performance that shocked the league. The Packers defense was non-existent too as they gave up 38 points. It was a very disappointing start to the season but look for the Packers to get back on track against Detroit.
