1. Xavien Howard picks off a Josh Allen pass

You could argue that this last bold prediction isn’t bold, as it’s possible this could happen each and every week. However, my final bold prediction is that Xavien Howard will intercept a Josh Allen pass on Sunday.

I believe that Allen is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, and he can throw the ball with confidence. The only issue is that he will try to be too confident on Sunday.

Howard made a huge impactful play in Week 1, where he stripped the ball from running back Damien Harris and then recovered his own forced fumble. Had Howard not made that play, the Dolphins are likely 0-1, and the feelings about the team are different.

The forced fumble and fumble recovery was just the start of yet another All-Pro season for Howard. After an offseason with a power struggle for a new contract, Miami and Howard agreed to a restructure. Howard is worth every penny that was given to him, and he will show that once again on Sunday,

After he records his second turnover of the season, this time an interception of Allen, get ready to start another Defensive Player of the Year campaign.

He may not win the award, but being a finalist for it shows that he is one of the best defenders in the NFL, which he is.
