Mike Gesicki is one of the most important pieces of the Dolphins offense and he was shut out last week. It was just the fourth time of his career that he was held without a catch. Having just 2 targets, the Dolphins need to get Gesicki involved a lot more this week.

The one catch that we thought Gesicki had last week was of course called back because of a penalty. Plus there were really only two receivers that were actively getting the ball last week. It is time to spread it around more. The Bills have a better defense than the Patriots, and they only put up 17 points against them. If the Dolphins want to beat the top team in the AFC East, they can not do it without more help.

In last year’s 31-28 loss to the Bills at home, Gesicki could not be stopped. He had 8 catches for 130 yards, and 1 touchdown. Thanks to Gesicki, the Dolphins were able to hang around until the end.

Even with being held without a catch last week, the Bills know that they need to account for Gesicki in their gameplan. But look for Gesicki to show up in a big way on Sunday as it is known that we need his impact badly.
