Scouting Report. WR. player. 59. Pick Analysis. Louisville. DeVanteParker. 4

DeVante Parker was a pleasant surprise against the Patriots as he looked like his 2019 self with 4 catches for 81 yards off of 7 targets.

Parker’s at his best when he can use his wide frame to be more physical than corners, but against the Patriots his best skill was the slant route. On multiple occasions Tua Tagovailoa had Parker open on slant routes as Patriots corners were playing off the line.

Parker was also on the receiving end of multiple big-time catches and plays. If Parker can continue to stay healthy and show that he can be a reliable target, like he was in 2019, then Miami’s offense will only trend up.

While the other wideout to be featured on this list is likely to see more targets, Parker will likely be on the back end of more 50-50 balls. This week he is likely to draw Bills Pro-Bowl cornerback Tradavious White.

Parker likely won’t see a massive target shared against the former All-Pro, but with Will Fuller not playing it wouldn’t be a shocker if he ends up once again making big plays in limited touches. Parker returning to his 2019 form would not only make the Dolphins offense more dynamic but would give Tagovailoa an extremely reliant target.
