Miami Dolphins week 2 offensive power rankings
By Pablo Rosero
Jaylen Waddle’s NFL debut proved something that many fans were hoping it would: this guy is as good as advertised. As a playmaker, as a wideout, just as an overall force on offense.
Outside of one major drop that would have likely lead to a touchdown, or a big gain, Waddle looked great in his first NFL game. With 4 catches for 61 yards and one touchdown off 6 targets, Waddle was featured often as the second most targeted player on the team.
During the offseason, the team made a point to say they would look to target Waddle and give him the ball as much as they can. It seems evident that the former Alabama wideout still had that connection with his former college quarterback.
In week 2, Waddle could likely see an increase in touches against the Buffalo Bills. With White likely to cover Parker and Fuller missing another game to start the season, Waddle could be the main beneficiary of the two moves.
Waddle should continue to be a dynamic player for the Dolphins this season, and if he is able to replicate his stat line the team and fans will love the outcome and draft pick.
