Mike Gesicki is not a disappointment but it has to be noted that Gesicki’s use in the Dolphins offense is.

So far through two games, the Dolphins quarterbacks have targeted the tight tend only 9 times and he has only three catches for 41 yards. Gesicki was supposed to be a big factor in the Dolphins offense and seeing how inept the offense has been through two games, you would think that Miami would include him more often.

While the Dolphins running game has showed some signs of life when given a chance, Gesicki isn’t being given a realistic chance to make plays. He looked really good in preseason when he was on the field, which wasn’t much, and fans expected to see more when the veil was pulled back on the two-headed OC game plan.

Instead, we are still wondering if the Dolphins have figured out that a TE can be a huge advantage in the game. Something you think they would have learned in New England.
