Miami Dolphins: 8 Revelations of the dismantling by the Bills
By Matt Serniak
Yes, the Dolphins defense gave up 35 points but the Miami Dolphin’s offense put them in an absolute no-win situation.
After the first 14 points were scored, yeah I know the defense was responsible for giving that up hence the reason I said they played admirably and not awesome or anything like that, they fought hard to try and keep Josh Allen from making any more plays on them. Allen finished with 179 yards, two TDs, and one sensational interception made by none other than Xavien Howard.
The defense did what they could but they simply are outgunned by the Bill’s offense. Allen was only sacked once and Buffalo got their running game going decently.
It has to be a terrible feeling when you’re trying to do well but you know that half of what your team does(the offense) cannot even come close to holding their end of the bargain. These guys are human and though I know they’re professionals there has to be a feeling of not trying to give your all late in the second half of games like this.
If the Dolphins are going to crawl out of this funk that has pretty much assimilated the team, they’re going to do it by way of their defense.
