Previous: 24th. Carolina Panthers. 21. team. 87. . (2-0)

The Panthers blew out the Saints in their home opener and looked pretty good doing it. Even though it’s just two games, Sam Darnold looks much better than he ever did with the Jets. He threw for 305 yards and 2 touchdowns which was a huge key to why the Panthers won. Christian McCaffrey also helped out in a big way having 137 total yards and 1 touchdown. The defense is arguably one of the biggest surprises so far, they are playing lights out and they even intercepted Jameis Winston twice. The panthers look to keep it going against the Texans.

. (0-2). Previous: 21st. Minnesota Vikings. 22. team. 60

For the 2nd week in a row, the Vikings lost due to a field goal. But this time around, they missed their own. The Vikings were toe to toe with the Cardinals all game long. The offense played very good. Kirk Cousins had a day throwing for 244 yards and 3 touchdowns, and things are much easier when you have Dalvin Cook running for 131 yards. Despite the offense explosion, the defense was quite the opposite despite having two interceptions. The Vikings looks to get things together this week at home against the Seahawks.

46. . (0-2). Previous: 22nd. Indianapolis Colts. 23. team

The Colts had another tough loss this week against the Rams. This time around, Carson Wentz got banged up again as he is now dealing with sprains in both of his ankles. The offensive line dissapointed once again and they still can’t get a solid run game going. The bright spot is that the defense did improve, and the Rams had just 14 points in the first 3 quarters. Once the offensive line figures things out, the Colts could be a much improved team. They get a tough task this week against the Titans.

24. team. 57. . (1-1). Previous: 26th. Chicago Bears

The Bears got back on track this week against the Bengals. The defense helped out big time as they came up with 5 sacks and 3 interceptions. The offense was inconsistent again, but rookie Justin Fields did make some good plays after Andy Dalton came out due to injury. The receivers didn’t help him out much, but we got a glimpse of the potential of this Bears offense with Fields at quarterback. They get a nice test this week against a shaky Browns defense.

Previous: 25th. Philadelphia Eagles. 25. team. 54. . (1-1)

The Eagles stay right where they were after hanging around with a tough 49ers team on Sunday. Jalen Hurts and the offense didn’t do as well as last week but for how tough the 49ers defense is, I would say the Eagles did pretty good. The defense was a huge surprise in this one, they held the 49ers to just 17 points. It was an overall promising performance for this young Eagles team and they now have another big fight with the Cowboys.

56. . (1-1). Previous: 23rd. Cincinnati Bengals. 26. team

The Bengals offensive line is going to be a huge problem for them this year. Joe Burrow got sacked 5 times while also throwing 3 interceptions. The offensive line has got to get better to give Burrow more time, and to get a solid run game going. The defense has been good overall, they came up with 3 sacks and an interception themselves. The Bengals take on the Steelers next in what will be another very tough game for the offensive line.

(0-2). Previous: 28th. New York Giants. 27. team. 31.

If it wasn’t for jumping offsides, the Giants would be sitting at 1-1 right now. They played a good game against Washington last week. Daniel Jones looked much better, throwing for 249 yards, running for 95 yards, and having both a passing and rushing touchdown. The defense was also better as well but just not enough. The Giants are a good team when Daniel Jones is playing at a high level. They look to get their first win against the Falcons.

Previous: 29th. Houston Texans. 28. team. 10. . (1-1)

The Texans were putting up a very good fight against the Browns until Tyrod Taylor got hurt and never returned. Brandin Cooks is the only reliable playmaker on offense and it showed as the Browns could not stop him. The defense wasn’t horrible as they came up with 3 sacks and an interception but they just could not stop Baker Mayfield and Nick Chubb. The Texans are still a rebuilding team but they look a lot better than expected so far. They take on the Panthers thursday night as they look to get back on track.

44. . (0-2). Previous: 27th. Atlanta Falcons. 29. team

Well, it was a fun first 3 quarters for the Falcons but they eventually fell to the Buccaneers after giving up 20 points in the 4th quarter. The defense is clearly a problem, they cannot stop anyone and are giving up a ton of points. Matt Ryan and the offense did look a lot better on Sunday but you can only do so much while your defense is losing you games. The Falcons look to get their first win against the Giants this week.

team. 50. . (0-2). Previous: 30th. Detroit Lions. 30

The Lions fell to the Packers badly, but they did start off hot in the first half. Jared Goff and the offense were rolling early, but late game turnovers really hurt them. TJ Hockenson is looking like one of the best tight ends in the league though so there’s that. The defense is one of the worst though, and it looks like that it all depends on how often the offense can keep up to see how many games the Lions will win. They face the Ravens this week, so it may be awhile to find that first win.

(0-2). Previous: 31st. Jacksonville Jaguars. 31. team. 52.

Trevor Lawrence and Urban Meyer are both off to slow starts in their NFL careers. Lawrence threw for 2 more interceptions and completed just 42% of his passes in the Jaguars loss to the Broncos. It was ugly, and the rookie will make improvements eventually but for now, there are a ton of issues. The defense isn’t helping out either by giving up 23 points. Good luck to the defense this week trying to contain Kyler Murray and the Cardinals offense.

New York Jets. 32. team. 30. . (0-2). Previous: 32nd

Yikes, welcome to the NFL Zach Wilson. The rookie threw 4 interceptions on Sunday and he is struggling big time. The lack of good receivers and a bad offensive line isn’t helping Wilson but 4 interceptions is a very bad sign. The defense isn’t helping at all, they are one of the worst in the league. The Jets are arguably the worst all around team in the NFL still and things don’t get easier as they take on the Broncos this week.
