Myles Gaskin is one of the most underrated running backs in the NFL. He has a dynamic skill set that allows him to be a threat while both running and receiving. Gaskin’s 2020 season was cut short due to injury but he was still very efficient.

So far in 2021, Gaskin is 10th in the NFL in yards per attempt, but he is just 36th in the NFL. It just doesn’t make sense at all for why the Dolphins are not using him more.

Yes, the offensive line is very bad, but Gaskin has shown that he can still be a threat no matter what. It is very important for the Dolphins to start leaning on Gaskin more.

By doing so, it will take a lot of pressure off of Brissett and his arm. He already has 89 attempts in the two games that he has played this season. It is just absolutely crazy for a backup quarterback to be throwing the ball that much. Especially for a low-end backup like Brissett is. He does not throw the ball deep at all.

Gaskin should be getting a lot more touches this week in a favorable matchup. The Colts better hope that they account for Gaskin on Sunday.
