The Colts have the ball to start the quarter on the 50-yard line. After a big sack by Emmanuel Ogbah on 2nd down, the Colts respond with a 19-yard completion to Jack Doyle to keep their drive alive. The Colts are able to score on a Jonathan Taylor touchdown rush and increase their lead to 10 points. Miami needs to find something on offense to get back into this game.

After connecting with Will Fuller for two catches of ten yards, Brissett is forced to throw the ball away on first down and throws an interception on second down. Just what they needed!

On the very next play, Jonathan Taylor takes it for 46 yards and a touchdown to widen the gap between the two teams. It looks like Miami is in line for another loss in these simulations.

On the ensuing possession, Brissett throws three (!) incompletions, but the Dolphins go for it and Brissett connects with his favorite target, Fuller, for a gain of 15! Miami gets themselves into another 4th and 5 situation but is unable to convert this time and the Dolphins turn the ball over on downs.

The Colts take over on their own 44-yard line and are forced into a three and out. Its not like it matters, but Miami gets the ball on their own 30-yard line with 4:53 on the clock. Miami is able to keep their drive going with a few nice plays by Gesicki and Gaskin out of the backfield, but on 4th and 3 on the Colt’s 27-yard line, Miami can’t convert and the ball goes back to Indianapolis. The Colts take the next possession to pick up the first down and run the clock out on this stinker of a game.

At the end of the fourth: Indianapolis 27, Miami 10

Miami’s offense can’t seem to do anything right in these simulations and, unfortunately, we’ve seen a bit of that carry over to real life. That being said, I do believe this is the week Miami’s offense finally gets going against a beat-up Colts team.

I think Miami is going to put up a lot of points and the Dolphins defense will have a big day against a hobbled Indy offense.

My prediction: Indianapolis 17, Miami 28
