NFL Week 5 Power Rankings, how far did Miami Dolphins fall after 3rd straight loss?
It didn’t matter who the quarterback was for the Broncos, the Ravens dominated that game all day long. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens offense had a really efficient day which made life easier on the defense. They came up with 5 sacka and an interception, holding the Broncos to just 7 points. It was a huge day from the defense that was very fun to watch for fans. The Ravens are on a nice hot streak right now and they look like they can be a team to talk about if the defense keeps it up.
The Chiefs bounced back with a nice win over the Eagles after a home loss to the Chargers the week before. Patrick Mahomes looked a lot better, throwing for 5 touchdowns. Clyde Edwards-Helaire also kept it going with another 100 yard game. The defense continues to struggle though, and they get a huge test this week against the Bills.
The Chargers handed the Raiders their first loss on Monday night with no problem. They were even up 21-0 at halftime. Justin Herbert continues to look like one of the best young quarterbacks in the league, and he is helping with getting the rest of the offense to flow well together. The defense has also been very good, they came up with 4 sacks and an interception on Derek Carr. The Chargers are looking like one of the biggest surprises so far this year.
What a game from the Cowboys on Sunday. Dak Prescott led the way with his 4 touchdowns, Ezekiel Elliott was also very impactful with 143 yards and a touchdown. The biggest part of the Cowboys had to be their defense. They gave Sam Darnold a hard time all day long sacking him 5 times. Trevon Diggs also came up with 2 interceptions himself. The Cowboys are by far looking like the best team in the NFC East.
The Browns offense has taken a few steps backwards recently and that continued Sunday against the Vikings. Baker Mayfield looked very off for the second week in a row as he is dealing with a shoulder injury in his non-throwing arm. The Browns were lucky enough to score 14 points. As always, they were carried by the best running back duo in the league. The positive part of this game was the Browns defense. They shut out the Vikings after they scored on their opening drive. The Browns are good, but need Mayfield to be better.
