After missing the first four weeks of the season due to injury issues, Preston Williams is set to make his season debut this week. It will be his first game back in action since he suffered a season ending foot injury against the Cardinals last year.

WIlliams was still dealing with his foot surgery and also suffered a new knee injury which is why he has still been out up until this point. His debut this week couldn’t have come at a better time either.

The Dolphins are starting to get thin at wide receiver. They placed Will Fuller on IR earlier this week and will miss at least three weeks. The Dolphins are also unsure about DeVante Parker’s status this week, as he will be a game-time decision.

Williams may very well be set up for a big day. This is a very important season for him. Williams needs to show the Dolphins that he is capable of staying healthy while also producing on the field if he wants to stay with the team.

He will also be a great addition for Tua Tagovailoa when he comes back next week, as he was arguably Tua’s favorite target in the short time they had together last year. Williams is a big deep threat receiver who can make a huge difference when healthy.

Look for Williams to have extra motivation when he gets his first chance to be on the field this season. He is someone the Buccaneers need to watch out for, as he may be flying under their radar.
