One positive thing about this year are the Dolphins two first round draft picks. After a slow start, rookie Jaelan Phillips is now making a difference and we are seeing why the Dolphins chose him as the first pass rusher in the draft.

Phillips is arguably the best rookie pass rusher so far this year. According to pff, Phillips had the second best pass rush win percentage in Week 4, just behind Micah Parsons.

He has showed off his power and dynamic skill set recently. Phillips is very fast off of the line of scrimmage, and he has been giving opposing linemen problems.

Phillips has been close to coming up with sacks a numerous of times this year. But he finally got his first one this past Sunday when he helped take down Carson Wentz.

Lined up across from Emmanuel Ogbah on the other side, the Dolphins may have their two edge rushers of the future if all goes well. The dynamic duo is off to a very strong start this year, and Phillips is improving a lot faster than expected.

It is important for Phillips to stay on the field, as his injury history is the reason why he fell in the draft. The talent is definitely there, and we are starting to see the upside of him. Phillips is someone who the Buccaneers should watch out for on Sunday.
