Any article discussing players to watch on the Buccanneers is incomplete without a brief discussion of Tom Brady.

The GOAT is the best in the business at putting his team into winning positions and could easily turn this game on its head before we leave the first quarter. The good thing for Miami is that Brian Flores knows Brady well from their time in New England and may be able to put together a wrinkle or two defensively that can throw him off at the line of scrimmage.

We all know the way to beat Brady: make him uncomfortable in the pocket. Miami does have the pass rushers to do this in Emmanuel Ogbah, Jaelean Phillips, and Andrew Van Ginkel on the outside and Christian Wilkins and Zac Sieler on the inside. If this group can consistently hit Brady, even if it isn’t a sack, we all know that he can get a little rattled. On top of that, if Miami’s pressure can force him to make a few mistakes like throwing it to the wrong team, then they might be able to stand a chance in this one.

I really think that Miami is going to struggle offensively in this game. It will definitely take the burden off this unit for the defense to get a few turnovers in Buccaneers territory and give the struggling offense a short field. If Miami can rattle Brady early, they might just be able to pull a miracle out of their depleted magic hat this Sunday.
