124. . (2-3). Previous: 7th. Kansas City Chiefs. 11. team

The Chiefs are just not the same explosive team that we have seen the last few years. Patrick Mahomes has already threw more interceptions than he did each of the last two seasons, and the offense can’t seem to get it going consistently. The defense on the other hand is just awful and they can’t stop or slow down anyone it seems like. Look for the Chiefs to improve the defense as we get closer to the trade deadline.

(3-2). Previous: 14th. Cincinnati Bengals. 12. team. 56.

The Bengals are playing very good in just year two with Joe Burrow. The offense is doing much better than expected, and Jamarr Chase looks like the real deal as the Bengals new number one receiver. The defense has even been pretty good this year. They held the Packers to just 25 points, but it could have been more if it wasn’t for multiple missed field goals. The Bengals still have plenty of room for improvement but they are off to a good start.

(3-2). Previous: 11th. Las Vegas Raiders. 13. team. 28.

The Raiders had a disappointing loss to the Bears on Sunday at home. It was a game that they should have won but they just didn’t show up like the way they did the first three weeks. Derek Carr is starting to look average again and they can’t get a run game going either. The defense needs to get better as well. The Raiders are now a team that still has a lot to prove.

(2-3). Previous: 13th. Seattle Seahawks. 14. team. 36.

The Seahawks didn’t play bad, but it is hard to slow down the Rams. The defense didn’t do much at all against their explosive offense. It also doesn’t help that Russell Wilson went down in the second half and you are already without your starting running back. The Seahawks played good for what they had to deal with, but they are still a team that looks average overall.

New Orleans Saints. 15. team. 15. . (3-2). Previous: 22nd

Jameis Winston and the Saints just torched the Washington defense all day long. He got back at it and threw for 4 touchdowns. The Saints offense kept Alvin Kamara involved a lot once again, and when he gets going, he is nearly impossible to stop. The defense was very good as well, coming up with two interceptions and making Taylor Heinicke struggle all day long. The Saints get a bye week coming up.

16. team. 55. . (2-3). Previous: 23rd. Pittsburgh Steelers

After three straight losses, Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers finally got back on track. They took care of the Broncos at home as the offense finally found themselves. Najee Harris went off for more than 120 yards and a touchdown, allowing the offense to open up more. The defense also got better this week, but they did allow the Broncos to score 13 points in the 4th quarter and they nearly came back. The Steelers still have a lot of work to do but this was a good win to get things going again.

(3-2). Previous: 15th. Carolina Panthers. 17. team. 87.

The Panthers have now lost two straight after their 3-0 start. Sam Darnold struggled a lot in this game, throwing 3 interceptions and the Panthers offense were never able to get going. Chuba Hubbard did have 104 rushing yards stepping in for Christian McCaffrey but the Panthers need more from Darnold in order to have some wins. Even the defense did well this game. They made Jalen Hurts struggle and held the Eagles to just 21 points in the close loss.

18. team. 42. . (2-3). Previous: 17th. San Francisco 49ers

Trey Lance made his first career start but it did not go according to plan. He struggled to get going in the pass game, as the tough Cardinals defense made a huge difference. One thing the 49ers need to do next time is to not run with Lance as much. It was a big reason why the 49ers offense never really got going. As for the defense, they did well holding the Cardinals to just 17 points. But the offense needs to get going.

team. 45. . (3-2). Previous: 16th. Denver Broncos. 19

The Broncos struggled big time in this game before turning it on in the 4th quarter. The defense couldn’t stop the Steelers offense at all which was disappointing knowing how much that they have been struggling in recent weeks. Teddy Bridgewater and the offense struggles as well in this one, and the Broncos now look like an average team after their hot start.

team. 60. . (2-3). Previous: 18th. Minnesota Vikings. 20

The Vikings were very lucky to come out with a win over the Lions. It took them a last second field goal to win a game that shouldn’t have been this close. The Vikings defense did their job, they stopped the Lions enough. But it was Kirk Cousins and the offense that struggled to get going all day long. This was an ugly win for the Vikings, but they still got the job done.
