4. Miami trades a 2022 7th round pick to the Baltimore Ravens for running back Ty’son Williams

When you watch the Miami Dolphins offense, it is hard to tell if they even like the running backs they have on their roster. RB1 Myles Gaskin had a solid game catching passes out of the backfield last week, catching two touchdowns, but the Miami rushing attack has been atrocious.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Baltimore Ravens have been receiving trade inquires for their running backs. Honestly, that is a slap in the face to the Dolphins, mainly because the Ravens lost their top three running backs to injuries for the entire season, yet they still have other running backs teams want.

That is a conversation to rant about for another day, but for now, Miami should try and trade for one of their running backs. The running back I would target would be Ty’Son Williams.

Williams burst onto the scene in 2021, running for 65 yards and a touchdown in Week 1. He added another 77 yards in Week 2, but his production fell off in Week 3. The Ravens also added three veteran running backs, with Latavius Murray, Le’Veon Bell, and Devonta Freeman, so Williams was actually inactive in Week 4.

Baltimore activated him again in Week 5, but Williams only received four carries in the game and caught two passes on two targets. I believe Williams flashes talent, and he would be an upgrade in the Miami running back room.
