Raekwon Davis made his return from IR last week against the Buccaneers and the Dolphins are very thankful to have him back. He is in just his second season with the team, but he is already making that much of a difference.

The defensive line is far from the strongest area on the defense, and it is very noticeable when one of the starting guys go down. For the three weeks that he was out, there was very minimal pass rush coming from the defensive line.

But that could also be the case for when he is still in the lineup. For example, last week Tom Brady just stood in the pocket and there were a lot of throws where he didn’t even need to move at all.
Sure, it was against one of the best offensive lines in football, but the good thing is that they still managed to come out with a couple of sacks on Brady.

Davis totalled 4 tackles on Sunday in his first game back. The defensive line is starting to improve and having David back will help that. His impact will be even more needed specifically with stopping the run.

Jaguars running back James Robinson has been on a roll recently after a cold start to his season. Look for the Jaguars to try and get the run game going early on against a Dolphins defense who has struggled to stop it this season.

A big key to the game will be the Dolphins defense against Robinson so it will be interesting to see how that plays out. But the Jaguars need to account for Davis in their game plan.
