2. Miami needs to be aggressive at the trade deadline

This one may confuse some people, especially because Miami’s season is over. But that does not mean they should not be working towards improving their team for next season. And that may be selling some of their “best” players.

Miami should also be buyers for players that other teams want to sell. Miami has a chance to trade for one or two players they can count on for the future, not just this season. Here are five creative trade ideas for the Dolphins, but Miami needs to also be smart with their own players.

Players like DeVante Parker, Will Fuller, Preston Williams, Albert Wilson, and Malcolm Brown should be players they look to sell on offense. And on defense, Xavien Howard, Byron Jones, Noah Igbinoghene, and Emmanuel Ogbah are players they should look to sell.

Some of those names may come as a surprise, but Miami’s failure at rebuilding will mean some of these players will not be part of the second rebuild that is needed. Miami would be smarter to get players or picks for them at the trade deadline than have them on the roster for no reason.
