I’m a firm believer in laughter being the best medicine to combat any ailment. If you take away me laughing at the comedy of errors this team provides on a weekly basis, then sadness, rage, and depression would surely set in. Watching the Dolphins on Sunday against the Falcons will surely bring times of pure comedic gold. There will, undoubtedly, be moments of pure ridiculousness from the coaching staff like going for a fake special teams play in a spot you shouldn’t do it or they’ll bring Jacoby in to run a 4th and short and he’ll be wildly short. A few things will happen that if you don’t laugh you’d cry.

There’s not much point in getting real mad at this team. They don’t really know any better. It’s like getting mad at your dog for eating stuff they shouldn’t. Dogs are wired to eat pretty much anything. I think the same can be said about this coaching staff. They can’t help themselves but to do weird, completely avoidable things. It’s in their nature not to be normal and do the conventional, obvious thing. That nature leads to moments where the only healthy response by us the fans is to laugh at it and say “yep, that’s the team I follow with everything I have” followed by a big gulp of your adult beverage as you die a little more inside. Just keep burying it all deep inside. That’s something we all are experts at doing from years of experience. Remember, serenity now, insanity later.
