Third year pass rusher Christian Wilkins has been making a huge key difference for the first time in his career. He is finally starting to show why the Dolphins took him in the first round back in 2019. Also when he did the famous chest bump to Roger Goodell on the stage.

His presence so far in 2021 has been amazing. He has already tied his career high in sacks with two sacks. Which passes 2020 when he had 1.5 sacks, and ties his rookie season in 2019 with two sacks.

He is also off to a very good start in 2021 with 27 total tackles in 6 games. He is well on his way to pass last season’s total of 47 tackles. While he is going to try and beat his rookie season’s total of 56 tackles.

He is arguably coming off of his best game of the season so far where he had three tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble. He made things hard on rookie Trevor Lawrence as he brought pressure all day long. His hot performance needs to carry over this week against the Falcons.

Wilkins is someone who should be on the Falcons radar. He can bring pressure all day long to Matt Ryan and make things hard on him. This will be an interesting matchup to watch.
