3. Mike Gesicki is amazing

PAY THE MAN!!! PAY HIM!!!

If there is one player on the Miami Dolphins that deserves a contract extension, it is tight end Mike Gesicki. The tight end has been incredible all season outside of an inexplicable Week 1 where he was not targeted.

Since Week 1, Gesicki has 37 catches, 427 yards, and two touchdowns. He is the most reliable weapon on the Dolphins offense, and they should target him on every 3rd down and every play in the red zone. More likely than not, if you throw the ball to #88, he is going to catch it.

Miami would be crazy to let him walk in free agency, and they would show their incompetence by needing to franchise tag him too. Gesicki should be rewarded with a new contract this week to try and boost the team morale and get some positive vibes flowing in the locker room. It would show the other players that if you are going to play well, the Dolphins will give you what you have earned.

Gesicki may not be an All-Pro or Pro Bowler at the end of the year, but he is working towards being the Dolphins MVP on offense.
