I’m sure some of you will let me know of other years where the offensive line was worse. You might be right. Fact remains that this offensive line is beyond repugnant and I’m not sure if any of them can play for this team next year. I know that many of them will be back and will play but literally, none of them look like starting-caliber offensive linemen.

We want to rag on Tua for yesterday’s average at best performance and I get it. He looked, pedestrian. But man alive, when you drop back and there’s an 85% chance that you’re never going to be able to get to the end of your drop because one or more lineman completely whiffed on a block then I don’t know what you’re supposed to do.

This is the kind of hot garbage that Tua was and has been dealing with all year on the regular.

Are you really telling me you can get a firm understanding if Tua can really play or not when this is happening all the time?

Watch nearly any other team. Watch how their quarterback can drop back and just look for his receivers. It will make you so mad knowing that Miami can do nothing like that. Then think about all the picks we put into trying to be able to do it. Then think about how someone gets paid to coach that unit. Now take a drink.

I have no idea if Tua will be the quarterback next week. My gut tells me that Miami doesn’t trade for Watson but will be in play for him in the offseason. Tua will be gone. But just you wait. You’re going to see some team who isn’t run by doofuses who have a coach in place that can coach the offensive line who will allow Tua to throw upright and on time and he’s going to be pretty good. Will be in the coveted “top 5” that everyone cares about? I don’t know but he’ll be making throws that are going to make you say “where was that when he was here.” Then you should say “oh, the play-callers were dumb and the offensive line was the worst.”

Expect another bumpy week as the trade deadline looms. I seriously don’t know how both Grier and Flores survive this season if things keep going the way they are. I hate to say that a full cleanse is in order but tell me why anyone shouldn’t think like that?
