3 Miami Dolphins players who are not contributing to the 2021 season
By Brian Miller
Noah Igbinoghene is going to go down as one of the biggest mistakes in Miami Dolphins history. He will rank up there with the likes of Jamar Fletcher, Eric Kumerow, and John Bosa. Those are high-level busts. Maybe Igbinoghene will marry the sister of Fletcher and have stellar NFL offspring.
Igbinoghene is so bad that he can’t get on the field as a corner and even after the trade of Jakeem Grant is bad enough that the coaches didn’t see the value in putting him on the field as returner.
Brian Flores loves secondary players but whoever made the decision to draft Igbinoghene should be fired. He isn’t pulling his weight but then again, he can’t on the active list to give the Dolphins something back for the $2.5 million he is stealing from them.
I actually believed that Miami had found a gem when they drafted Igbinoghene but they probably would have found him in the 2nd or early 3rd. At the very least if they had missed out on him, they wouldn’t have missed out on anything.
There is still half a season for him to turn it around but he has to perform better in practices so that he can impress the coaches enough to get on the field come Sunday’s. Then he has to impress them enough to let him on the field.
