The Dolphins offensive line continues to be an issue for the team as players such as Austin Jackson, Liam Eichenberg, Robert Hunt, and even Dieter have struggled with health and inconsistent play. Whether this is a result of not being properly developed or not having the necessary traits, the Dolphins need to improve.

This would start obviously by taking Linderbaum in the first and attempting to sign one of Eric Fisher or Terron Armstead in free agency. The team would then be smart to draft Ohio State right tackle Dawand Jones.

Jones currently ranks 14th among all offensive linemen with an 85.4 PFF grade along with a 77.3 pass-blocking grade and an 88.5 run-blocking grade. Rather than going for pure traits, the Dolphins should go for results, and Jones has proven he can hold that role.

This is one of the more fun and interesting storylines from the 2021 College Football season. If you haven’t heard the name Matt Araiza yet, then you should go check out his highlight tape on youtube.

The most impressive part of Araiza’s season is his multiple 80-yard punts. For ranked San Diego State, Araiza has brought a new definition to changing the field and giving his defense an advantage. His long of 86-yards leads the way for his 51.9 yards per punt average.

While Araiza is likely to be seen as a punter in his draft process, he is also San Diego State’s kicker. On the season he’s 10-for-16 on field goals and 30-for-30 on field goals.

Taking Araiza would likely cause a competition at punter, but one that would save the team money. He’d also be the backup kicker for the Dolphins if anything were to happen to Jason Sanders.

**note: Michael Turk is the only punter and kicker available on NFLmockdraftdatabase. He was used as a placeholder here for Araiza.
