Miami Dolphins: First-round talent falls late in 2022 mock
By Pablo Rosero
The 6’3” Arkansas native ended the 2021 regular season with career highs across the board. He picked up where he left off against Alabama with 7 catches for 129 yards and a touchdown in a victory against Missouri.
Junior wideout Treylon Burks should be headed to the NFL Draft and should see his name called in the first round, his game against Alabama proved his talent. Of the top wideouts in the draft, no one would fit Miami better than Burks.
With Parker and Fuller likely on the out due to the lack of being on the field, Waddle has taken over at the wideout spot but has yet to see any other help.
Burks, a big physical wideout who displays great speed, would slot in perfectly alongside Waddle who had a career day against the Carolina Panthers. The Dolphins need more high-level performances from Waddle but need other players to step up as well.
While the defense was firing on all cylinders and the run game contributed two touchdowns, not many receiving targets outside of Waddle contributed much.
Burks’ size and speed would be the biggest boost to the Dolphins wideout room and would give Tagovailoa another young high-level athlete.
