The Miami Dolphins are entering J.E.T.S. Jets, Jets, Jets week for the 2nd time this season. They will face rookie QB Zach Wilson for the first time. The Jets are not a very good offensive football team and their defense, while better, has not been playing up to their level lately.

Miami gave up a lot of passing yards to Joe Flacco in their first meeting but the Dolphins clamped down and took over the game. Miami will be favored and they should be. The Dolphins offense is playing better and their defense continues to be incredibly disruptive.

Heading into this game, the Dolphins will be coming off their bye week so they will be well rested and the coaching staff will have had plenty of time to get a solid game plan ready to be implemented. There are no excuses for losing this game this week.

The Dolphins are the better team in this contest and we should see Miami take care of business at home but the Jets could deliver the blow that sends Miami out of the “in the hunt” charts and they would love to be the team that does that.

I still think the Dolphins will win this game and get to .500.
