Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. Kenny Pickett. 10. Pittsburgh. player. 44

This pick is contingent on Matt Ryan being traded away for a full re-build of this roster. Of course, it wasn’t long ago this team was in the Super Bowl, but now with Julio Jones, Devonta Freeman, Tevin Coleman, and Calvin Ridley not on the roster, it would be smart for all parties involved for Matt Ryan to move on.

With the Washington Football Team being said as an option in the previous slides, other teams include Pittsburgh, Green Bay, Denver, or Cleveland. This team is devoid of talent and should consider gaining as many assets as it can from Ryan.

Moving on from Ryan would mean taking another quarterback for the job, in this case, it’s Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett. After breaking all of Dan Marino’s passing records at Pitt, Pickett has declared for the draft and could be the first quarterback off the board.

In Atlanta, Pickett would have Cordarrelle Patterson, Kyle Pitts, and Russell Gage to throw to. The Falcons would need to draft a running back this year, but an improvement at that position is highly needed.

Pickett might not be an instant success, but it would give him time to develop as a starter as the team builds around him and what he can do best, which is sling the ball around.
