NFL round one mock draft: Miami Dolphins go offensive line
By Pablo Rosero
The Baltimore Ravens were on the receiving end of the COVID and injury bug that has plagued many teams this season, but none as much as them. In 2021 the Ravens had over 16 players n injured reserve on the season.
Two of those 16 include Marcus Peters and Marlon Humphrey, their two top corners. Even with those losses, the Ravens are 8-and-7 and still have a chance at the playoffs and of winning the division.
Although the team has dropped its last four in a row and six of its last nine, the team is still primed for a playoff spot and they are set to have Lamar Jackson return against the Los Angeles Rams.
Taking Ahmad Gardner would not only give them a third impact corner, but it would give them another option in case either of the other two are unable to play.
Nicknamed “Sauce,” Gardner is one of the top corners in the country shutting down opposing teams’ top wideouts weekly. This weekend he’ll get the chance to match up against Alabama’s impact wideouts and show the world he’s elite.
The Ravens really don’t have many holes on their roster, so fixing one of their most pronounced of this season would be ideal for this team.
