NFL round one mock draft: Miami Dolphins go offensive line
By Pablo Rosero
The Buffalo Bills defense was put on the spot after letting the Patriots beat them after only three pass attempts. It didn’t help when the team lost superstar cornerback Tradavius White to a torn ACL.
Although the team was able to beat the Patriots in order to regain the AFC East lead but were still torn apart by Damien Harris and the Patriot’s run game. But is it just the defense that is holding the team back?
On the season, the Bills have been somewhat stagnant this season, with their best two performances offensively coming against the Miami Dolphins. After having been expected to easily win the AFC East, they only recently regained the lead from the Patriots and still have a chance of losing the division.
Josh Allen has not looked like the surefire MVP candidate that many believed him to be after last season. Diggs has taken a step back, but the team has improved when it comes to running the football.
Defensively the team would stand to gain adding Florida cornerback Kaiir Elam. Adding a talented corner opposite of White would give them one less liability defensively and improve one of their biggest holes.
The Bills should still be viewed as a Super Bowl contender, but they still have holes they must fix first.
