IsaiahThomas. 116. 59. Pick Analysis. EDGE. Scouting Report. Oklahoma. player

While one Isaiah Thomas is bouncing around the NBA trying to stick with a team, which he definitely should, Oklahoma’s Isaiah Thomas should be able to find a home during the NFL draft. This EDGE rusher is a bit bigger than the NBA’s Isaiah Thomas by quite a bit ( 6-foot-5 vs 5-foot-9.)

Thomas, the football player who will be the only one we’ll be talking about, was an All-Big 12 Second-Team selection this season as he played in 12 games and record 38 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, 8.0 sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and four pass breakups. Essentially he was one of the most important players on the Oklahoma Sooners defense this season.

After watching the Dolphins’ latest game against the Titans, it is clear the Dolphins need to still improve their front-seven. Originally the pick here would likely have been Zacch Pickens, but he decided to return to South Carolina for the 2022 season. That made the decision between the two players easy.

It is clear that the Dolphins need more help behind Emmanuel Ogbah and Phillips, Thomas should be able to provide that. At his size, 6-foot-5, 266 pounds, he should be able to move inside as well if needed.

Miami would be smart to add to their defensive line in the draft, Thomas experience and size would be a solid addition to the team.
