Mike Gesicki

What once seemed like a no-brainer now feels like a bit more of a tough decision. Mike Gesicki will be a free agent at season’s end, and there are reasons to believe that he will be moving on to another team. But the Dolphins will have the most money to spend in free agency, so don’t count a reunion out just yet.

Durham Smythe

Like his fellow tight end Mike Gesicki, Durham Smythe also has a contract that expires after Sunday.

It is far-fetched to think that Miami would bring both of them back, but getting rid of Smythe would mean getting rid of their statistically most reliable target. Smythe also excels in blocking, something that is a glaring and obvious need going in to the off season for the Dolphins.

Tua Tagovailoa –

Morale around the Tua Tagovailoa Faithful is at an all-time low following last week’s performance against the Titans. We can only assume how management and the front office feel about him, but it is likely that they will explore other avenues at quarterback this off season.

Sunday could be Tagovailoa’s last chance to win over the hearts of the franchise’s decision makers, if the decision hasn’t already been made.
