The Miami Dolphins are far from perfect but they actually have good players on their roster and that can’t be overlooked.

We may not know what happens with Xavien Howard and if he wants out of Miami it is unlikely that any new coach is going to change his mind. That being said, Miami has a lot more talent than just Howard.

Defensively the Dolphins are in great shape even if they start to change the defensive system. Jevon Holland and Jaelan Phillips are stars in the making, Christian Wilkins will likely have his 5th year option picked up, Raekwon Davis continues to grow as does Zach Sieler. Emmanuel Ogbah could be back and the Dolphins linebackers are good and should be easy to improve upon.

Offensively, there isn’t much. Mike Gesicki could be brought back and Jaylen Waddle is coming off an NFL record setting rookie season. The good news here? A new head coach practically has a blank slate to work with if he desires. Whether it be a good thing or a bad thing, Miami’s offense can be completely overhauled by the next head coach.
