Vance Joseph is a coach that many believe will be the Miami Dolphins next head coach but should he be?

Joseph has a very good relationship with Chris Grier and Grier holds Joseph in high regards as a coach. He has been a Dolphins coach before running the defensive unit under Adam Gase. He failed as the head coach in Denver but some believe his shot wasn’t a very good one. QB issues plagued the team but the defense continue to play well.

Joseph could continue the molding and shaping of the Dolphins defense and that is a positive but what and who he could bring to the offense is another question. He is far from the Sean McVay type of young coach who has a lot of options to pull from.

Ultimately, Joseph is a very safe choice for Grier who is coming off a bad situation with Flores and it would be hard to believe that the two of them would have any issues working together at all but we thought the same thing with Jeff Ireland and Tony Sparano, in other words, things can happen.

If Joseph is named the head coach, many fans will not be happy with the decision.
